Kim, outside the Bible itself, it would be hard to fi nd a source of truth, though there are many sources that have truth here and there. I believe, though I cannot prove, that God is actually selecting servant/leaders at this time, and is deliberately making the seatrch hard because he really wants us to think, to “rightly divide the word of truth(2 Timothy 2:15)”. Yur search will lead you into all sorts of categories, maybe economics, maybe law, a lot of areas, but keep in mind always that you are free from all authority systems of men, free to make your own decisions and to seek to set others free when you get that chance. The internet will hold many opportunities to select your fellow thinkers, but you will always disagree on many points. But you will learn to thik like a leader, not a follower. If you have specific question s, I will be glad to offer from my experience, but I am nobody’s leader. I’m here to give advice and help where I can.

I couldn’t agree more and it is refreshing to know that I am not the only one who has lost… I mean found my mind. I have prayed to God to show me the truth and have been on an incredible journey! He told me to take everything I see and look at it in a total opposite way and wow, this makes so much sense. That’s why I don’t feel right at church and baptism doesn’t make sense to me. Any other suggestions to learn the truth? What’s the best way to find out besides reading the bible and of course praying?

While your statement is generally true, it leaves out a broad range of understanding regarding plainly taught scriptures fully consistent with logic. Since Jesus died and was resurrected, according to the Bible, the next step is to understand truth from falsehood.
The question is, can we, by applying our sense of reason, arrive at a process to separate truth from falsehood? Apparently not, since there are over 38,000 estimated versions of “true christianity”. Is there some decision procedure to arrive at that knowledge? If there were, it could be translated to language, then into algorithms, and programmed into a computer, which means that there is no requirement of a “soul” or anything other than a carefully designed program. This would mean basically that there would be no need of Jesus’ sacrifice in the first place, since we can save ourselves. All such decisions would remain with God, since we can’t do it.

Thank you so much for your writing above. I have come to this same conclusion. It has taken me ten years and working in a nursing home talking to the dying population to figure it out. But how can you tell anyone? There are few who believe this way. I would go to ANY church if I wanted to hear a good sermon. Grew up in the World Wide church of God with Herbert W Armstrong….then when he died on to Gerald Flurry’s Philadelphia Church of God. Very sick individuals. I am so happy now and I know God watches over and protects and blesses me.

I wish this would work on that goddamned Obama-care bullshit! To be free and I mean truly free, we need to address the concept of freeing oneself from the litany of tyrants and other forms of authoritative scum.

I agree that the “church” as we see them all around us is not the Church Christ spoke of. We have all those many religons, how many, 38000 of them? They all seem to have a church of some sort, an organization with a building. The term “religion” does not appear in the Bible. Therefore I do not consider my relationship with God as a religion. A religion is someting you spend your extra time and money on. Atheism is a religion along with many other hobbies, racing, mountain climbing, etc. There are more religions than you can count on a Cray, or is it Crey?

This man has a lot of good information and well presented. But all the point made can can be made without the many references to VIRUS. Virus is an intangable object. It does not exist as matter. It is a word invented by the medical establishment. I takes the place of the words that we used to hear from doctors, “we just don’t know”. Circa 1940 I was sick in bed with something and with a fever. The doctors made routie house calls back then. Refering to my illness my mother asked the doctor, “what is the cause of this illness?” The doctor replied, “Mrs _ _ _ _ _ _ we just don’t know”. You will never hear a doctor say anything like that these days. The answer is always, “It’s a virus”. That ficticous entity now provides the medical establishment with an answer to everything. Go ahead see if you can find a real identifyable piece of matter that can be identified as a Virus.

Before computers all circuits and therefore the logic was soldered in “concrete”. A circuit board has 10 components soldered together to perform a function of logic. The input to the board is extremely limited and so is the output.
Computers provide a way to “re-wire” logic via software. The equivelant 10 components in a computer can, by control logic, accomodate many different inputs and many different outputs. And these different logic paths do not come by evolution or chance, but by intellegent design. I find the author’s idea of how the brain puts itself together if faulty.
