Actions are more revealing than words, so I've learned to listen to what the PCG does rather than what they say. I base this somewhat caustic (but justifiably so) article on my experience in the PCG. Other members or ex-members might have had a different experience. Or, like I was for far too long, they could still be in the dark or laboring under the delusion that God wants them to stick it out.

• We believe that Gerald Flurry is That Prophet, Jesus Christ Himself (Acts 3:13-26).
• We believe that Stephen Flurry is the Son of Jesus Christ (The Glorious Son of That Prophet).
• We believe the Great Tribulation will fry your arse if you don't submit to our dear leader Gerald and pay homage to his Son.
• We believe that if the Great Tribulation doesn't get you the Day of the Lord will.
• We believe the Devil is real and we can tell by the way you behave.
• We believe that an open mind will take you out of the Church of God.
• We believe that murderers, adulterers, homosexuals, perverts, gays, faggots, queers, lesbians, and people who eat bacon bits will not be in the Kingdom.
• We believe that Mark Nash is a crook and did three years in jail but we praise him and you should kiss his arse anyway because he's a minister.
• We believe that Dennis Leap has mental problems brought on by his close association with Gerald Flurry.
• We believe that Wayne Turgeon is a boring jackass but we endure him because he is the Son-in-Law of Jesus Christ.
• We believe that Andrew Locher is incompetent.
• We believe that Joel Hilliker is a mega-mouth.
• We believe that Ron Fraser's arse is tighter than any other arse on the planet.
• We believe that love is strict obedience to every word we say while we boot your rear for being human.
• We believe in lying to promote the truth as we see it.
• We believe in living by faith in God unless Gerald Flurry says otherwise.
• We believe in scaring the hell out of people.
• We believe the end is near, and we've been saying that forever.
• We believe that Germans are genetically defective psychos no matter how nice many of them appear on the outside.

• We believe that only we know what's going on in the world.
• We believe that Herbert Armstrong could do no wrong, so we refuse to look at the evidence that he might have.
• We believe in love and that Israelis should be allowed to kill whoever the hell they want.

• We believe Gerald Flurry can reinterpret the Bible at will.
• We believe the ministry is always right because God is guiding them even when they say something stupid or contrary to fact.
• We believe that if you study literature written by scholars you have a vanity problem.
• We believe anyone who questions a minister has a bad attitude.
• We believe in manipulating you behind your back.
• We believe that our ministers have the right to nose into in your personal issues and micromanage your life whenever and however they see fit.
• We believe that no matter how good you are, you are really a secret rebel hiding some great sin, unless you are one of the elite in this church or part of our in-group.
• We believe that if you find an error in a sermon, you must be trying to cause trouble and are making a huge issue out of it.
• We believe that you stink and we don't need any evidence because God sees your evil heart. But if you're a minister or a kiss-up, you always have the best of motives even if you act like a carnal jerk.
• We believe that no matter how abusive a minister is he really does love you and is acting with your best interests at heart. It's all for your own good even if he has accused you falsely.
• We believe that you were called to suffer, so shut-up and take it like a man, while we kick your ass for nothing.
• We believe that your ideas are bad even before we have heard what they are.
• We believe that you are guilty even if we have never heard most of your side of the story.
• We believe that you should be thrown out of the church although we have no evidence of wrong-doing.
• We believe that we can throw people out without a Bible reason.
• We believe that you and your concerns are not worth our precious time.
• We believe that you are a sucker.
• We believe that we should have your money.
