I Have a tale to tell!
ALICE IN WONDERLAND--Everything is mixed up and nothing makes sense
(Doctrines are changed and flap in the wind.)
There is a crazy leader (QUEEN OF HEARTS) who has the power to cut off your
head (disfellowship and mark you and cause you to lose your salvation by
being cut off from the vine, which Worldwide lies and says is the "church",
when it is really Jesus Christ who is the vine.)
It's time to come home, go through the mirror and GROW UP, face our fear
(the dragon) and live in reality.
RIP VAN WINKLE, a chunk of your life is gone. You awaken out of the cult
experience 15-20-30+ years older, your best years have gone by, your
children's formative and growing up years are over (they're all of the mind
set of the cult, which you brought them up in.)
JACK IN THE BEAN STALK-- counselors don't understand, they understand the
"beans" of psychology, (but they don't know "beans" about the cult
experience and they can't imagine the giant in the beanstalk -- the
magnitude of your crazy cult life, they don't believe "beans" can grow as
tall as the cult tale, so they label you "schizophrenic", "manic
depressive", or some "disorder", or just plain nuts! They've never read
JEKYLL AND HYDE, which was your reality as a cult victim. They don't
realize that your "splitting" (and phobias and panics and paranoia) is the
normal reaction of a normal person to the abnormal "reality" of the cult life.
They don't understand the WIZARD OF OZ (Worldwide and thugs) had all the
answers and you followed them trusting, to OZ, to get your perfect self and
your salvation.
NO, the "world" cannot understand us ex-cult members. We have been to NEVER
NEVER LAND with PETER PAN, through the RABBIT HOLE with BUGS BUNNY AND THE WHITE RABBIT, and asleep with RIP VAN WINKLE.
They don't understand that you weren't grown up emotionally, when you fell
down the rabbit hole and lived in the land of make believe. They don't
understand they you've gone through the mirror, and now you're ready to grow
up. They don't know that what you tell them is REAL! They think YOU'RE
NUTS, and telling them fairy tales, when you tell such outlandish things
that happened in NEVER NEVER LAND (WWCG) and while you slept and whey you
were in the rabbit hole. They don't' believe you, and YOU WONDER WHY THEY DON'T BELIEVE YOU! You are not validated. No one understands. You are
isolated; alone; friendless. You FEEL crazy. They SAY you are.
The rabbit hole looks good. At least it's known and comfortable and not an
"unknown" and frightening as the "WORLD" has become. You hear the call of
the cults. Will you return? Or will you as Alice did, have the courage to
come through the mirror and GROW UP?
REALITY is scary and painful and a battle. It's confusing sorting out what
was "real", what was true or false, who lied, and why. It's a big job and
takes time. Getting SUCKED down the RABBIT HOLE of the cults took awhile (A
PROCESS OF CONVERSION THEY TOLD US) ( read here: MIND CONTROL --
BRAINWASHING) as you followed the cult's white rabbit (PLAIN TRUTH MAGAZINE, booklets, Correspondence Course, etc etc.) and the PROCESS of coming out will take time.
ALLOW YOURSELF THAT RECOVERY TIME! Remember that those who have never been in cults don't understand, SO DON'T EXPECT THEM TO! You will avoid feeling
misunderstood and avoid feeling crazy and perhaps avoid being misdiagnosed
as some nutty variety!
THE WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF GOD IS A CULT. IF available, find a good cult exit counselor. Read about cults in general, and study the WWCG history via the "world" and not it's own propaganda.
Don't just get your butt out of the rabbit hole! Get your head out as well.
Come out of the cult confusion with the DOCTRINES OF DEMONS AND DOCTRINES THAT BLOW IN THE WIND AND CHANGE LIKE DIRTY SOCKS. Stop--think! Learn how to think. You are all grown up. Do you have the courage to come through
the mirror?
