A Foundation of Sand: The Lie of British Israelism is a document which explores the premise that the United States and British Commonwealth are lost tribes of Israel.
This is important because Herbert Armstrong based his whole religion on the premise. It was so important, in fact, that in the 1950s, Herbert Armstrong insisted that people could not be baptized unless they accepted British Israelism -- which also was the basis for his false prophecies.
