Now here's a nifty idea. Yes, it's the best way for good Catholics to search the Web. Not sure about bad Catholics or the "cafeteria" variety, but I can see Jared making excellent use of this new site.
CatholicGoogle is a custom search engine powered by Google, just for Catholics. We strive to provide an easy to use resource to anyone wanting to learn more about Catholicism and provide a safer way for good Catholics to surf the web.
This site is powered by Google using "safe search" technology, it produces results from all over the internet with more weighting to given to Catholic websites and eliminates the vast majority of unsavoury content, such as pornography. The site is not associated or affiliated with Google.com, we work closely with Google to help ensure that the adverts are not objectionable in nature, however, some of the results and adverts that are displayed may not be in line with Catholic doctrine and we do not endorse of any of the results or adverts displayed on Catholic Google.
Now, what we need is COG Google. Hmm... maybe that's too broad... UCG and LCG would fight over top listings, and could we in good conscience include Weinland or Dankenbring? Somehow I suspect AW would appear way down those listings. Anyway, the idea has merit, right? The Information Superhighway personalized for your denominational preference. But what next? Atheist Google, Taliban Google? Branch Davidian Google?

This goes great with my idea of a new ".cog" domain!
WitnessWhinnerGoogle is a custom search engine powered by Google, just for Whinners. We strive to provide an easy to use resource to anyone wanting to learn more about False Prophecy,Narcissism,Mental illness in the ministry and provide a more self-deceived way for good Whinners to surf the web.
This site is powered by Self Interests using "Witness Protection" technology, it produces results from all over the internet with more weighting to given to Daffy Duck, Betty Boop and Goofy websites and eliminates the vast majority of unsavoury content, such as truth. The site is not associated or affiliated with Google.com, we work deceptively with Google to help ensure that the adverts are not accurate or true in nature, however, some of the results and adverts that are displayed may not be in line with Whitness Whinner doctrine and we do not endorse of any of the results or adverts displayed on WhitnessWhinner Google.
:P
Well, I have to say I'm impressed that it pretty much accepts and brings up just about any topic once could think of. Seems almost like the parental setting of just about any search engine. But it doesn't sanitize the church.
I have a personal friend who, as a Priest here in the area, was honored with the title of Monsignor. We kidded about me going to his ceremony the same week I was terminated from the ministry. We both decided it was just the way the universe balances religious responsibilities :)
I was half kidding him about the death of John Paul 1 being less than natural thinking he would jump on that and give me what for.
To my surprise he said, "Oh yes, I personally believe he was murdered. We have intrigue in our church."
Our funniest moment together was going to lunch one day to talk and as passenger in his car I noticed we weren't really going anywhere but around in circles. Up one street and down the other and really not heading to any restaurant I knew of in the area.
Finally I looked at him and said, "You're a diabetic aren't you?"
He said..."ummmmmmm, yeah......I have no idea where I am or where I am going and I need some food..."
I said, "Move over...I'm driving" and within a few minutes I had his blood sugar back up to coherent.
I asked him if he had ever read Father Raymond Brown's material on the Birth and Death of the Messiah.
I should have known....He said that he lived next door to Father Brown in school and had him as a professor.
My oldest son just joined the Catholic Church as well. This is the one who when I was doing a funeral that had a plastic telephone on the casket that said "Jesus Called," begged me not to answer it if rang during the service. memories....
Sitting here behind the Great Firewall, I sometimes need to trick "smart" multinational websites from defaulting to ".cn". Google is one of them.
PS However, having read Mr. Mahon's on going "I'm of Christ" deathwish for all concerned here at AW and of his glee over the death of Dr Samuele Bacchiocchi, I'm sure he'll tell me to just go ahead anytime and answer it.
As noted:
"Will the doctor be taken by the angels into Abraham's bosom, or will he be burried like the rich man? A question that should send chills down the spines of the hirelings in cog-land!
However, the question now is: who is next?"
I would remind one that it's "buried" and that there is only one spine per hireling, composed of seven cervical, twelve thoracic, five lumbar, five sacral and four coccyx vertebrae each. Quite an amazing piece of work actually.
I'd also like to say that spinal chills can be eliminated almost entirely with a warm bath, a heating pad, a generous application of icy hot or just dressing warmly.
Due to the depth of the spine within the body, and the amount of bloodflow it experiences, it does not itself experience chilling. Certain nerve impulses called, "the willies" may at times give the feeling of a chill, but there is actually no chilling going on.
I would like to extend a discount, however, to any hireling, or hireling sympathizer, who experiences chilling of the spine. I guarantee you'll leave with your spine at the normal 98.6 and feelin fine.
Me thinks Tom Mahon would love to be a "hireling" himself. Too bad he was never good enough!
Dennis, you done good.
It's hard to believe that William Cowan Jr. is still a minister in the WCG - I never thought he was such a low-life as to put up with that nonsense - but, there he is, still lying for "Jesus".
It just goes to show that some will go along with anything for a pay check.
