Aussies - I take it all back

I repent. All those jingoistic jibes about our neighbors across the ditch are hereby withdrawn. Truth is, they didn't produce Ray Comfort (though we're very glad he's across in the US now and fiddling with your bananas rather than ours), but they have sent an intrepid Ocker reporter down to Dallas and to suss out the plain truth about childrearing.

Talk about synchronicity from down under!

I just saw this TV series for the first time tonight on the G4 cable channel! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! I was just going to do a search for episodes on YouTube! I am surprised Comedy Central hasn't picked up this show long ago!

The show is a hybrid of The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Candid Camera, and The Kids Down the Hall.

I saw a great episode where they tried to penetrate the APEX summit in Sydney, and got around security by telling everyone they were Canadians! Nobody fears Canada!

Good video. Those folks in Texas don't know that they're supposed to OBEY and live by EVERY word of God?

Since people cherry pick the parts they like, why don't they take those parts and make another book and throw the big book away?

Oh, that's right, I forgot, folks can't agree on which parts...

Here's another idea, why not just call it allegory and interpret it any old way we like and beat other people over the head with it?

But wait, if it was allegory, how come folks owned slaves in real time?

I think God wanted us to own slaves, yeah, 'cause if he didn't he would have said, "thou art an holy nation; thou shalt not own slaves" (Deut. 00:00).

But instead, God gave instructions on how slaves were to be treated. Also, it was in the law to return an escaped slave to his master.

Because of this, Paul, the greatest Christian who ever lived, sent an escaped slave back to his master. Of course, the NT doesn't tell us what punishment was meted out to the hapless fellow. Perhaps, since the slave owner was a good Christian, mayhap he wasn't beaten too badly.

We should tell these guys to infiltrate a LCG or PCG Feast site and run amuck there! They would have a field day for a new material on how incredibly delusional American cultists are!!

Man did I ever laugh. And then when he brought up the homosexual dwarf priest, my sides hurt.
Although I must say they were taking scripture out of context in the same manner the preachers do.

It would be funny as hell to see that take place at a FOT in Ronald Weinland's COG. We would see if Ron carries a gun. ican't stop laughning. comedy is great.

Can you imagine those guys interviewing Ron Weinland? :)

I love the part where the young lady being interviewed has had enough of the give-and-take, and just cuts to the chase and says: "what he needs is a good ass-whuppin'!" We'd have so many fewer problems today if only the bible writers had applied such common-sense solutions!

Another gem: the older guy, when quoted scripture word-for-word, says "you're twisting things". Golden!
